The Alabama Virtual Library provides all students, teachers, and citizens of the State of Alabama with online access to essential library and information resources. It is primarily a group of online databases that have magazine, journal, and newspaper articles for research. Through the AVL, an equitable core of information sources is available to every student and citizen in Alabama, raising the level of excellence in schools and communities across the state.

Homework Alabama

HomeworkAlabama.org provides free homework tutoring and test prep materials in over 40 subjects, including math, science, social studies, and language arts. Tutors are available seven days a week from 3PM to 10PM. Also includes Princeton Review’s SAT/ACT Essentials and live online career coaching seven days a week from 10AM to 10PM. Homework Alabama is available remotely to all Alabamians.

Learning Express- Practice Test

Learning Express is an online learning platform that offers practice tests, exercises, skill-building courses, and e-books covering all grade levels and subjects. It has resources for K-12 and college students to help improve math, reading, science, logic, writing, grammar, spelling, vocabulary, and public speaking skills. There are preparation guides for applying to colleges, taking standardized tests like the GED, SAT, and ACT. It also has resources to help adults find jobs, improve work-related skills, and learn more about and prepare for various occupations. Learning Express is available remotely to all Alabamians.
